In this 3D Studio Max video tutorial we’ll take a look on how we can model a natural environment with mountain, rocks and river, just using the “Displace” modifier, some simple primitives and some procedural maps nested in a precise way using the Composite map.     Hi Alessandro, following the tut i’ve started the “environment experience” but the results seems to be “rounded” uff!!

      Hi Davide,

      can you try to “invert” the noise used for the displacement ? Try it and check the new rendering….
