CG Cookie’s blender 2.5 complete series training series

With the introduction of Blender 2.5, we are very excited to be one of the first to offer a complete, introductory, video training series to the blender community. Not only will this series make the transition from previous versions of blender to blender 2.5 easier, but it also will give the new user the boost they need to get up to speed quickly.

This is an exciting time to be involved with blender, CG Cookie is here to make sure you know how to use it!

This will be our largest undertaking since the sites birth

With the dramatic changes coming to Blender 2.5, everything from the beautiful new interface to custom key maps, there is a lot of information to get your head around. Having treaded the waters of Blender training for the past year, we at CG Cookie strive to give you the very best. Instructor Jonathan Williamson will introduce you to blender 2.5 and walk you through how to use it through our 7 unique training series that will start to release at the end of October 2009.

We decided to break up the training into their individual series to allow more focus on these individual sections, while giving the advance users the opportunity to pick and choose the sections you are interested in learning. Or if you are looking for the total blender 2.5 introduction, then pre-ordering the full subscription is recommended.

We of course will still be offering 2.5 training streaming live here on Cg Cookie in addition to this in-depth training series.
