   Nice start! I rather like the proportional adjustments you made, it gives the character a much more rugged, beefy look.

   One thing you could do to help give the impression of metal is to add more define, crisper highlights. Currently you have soft, circular highlights on the surfaces which tend to make the surface feel like plastic.

   The thumb also has a very awkward bend to it.

     Thanks, I thought it looked a bit like megaman too. I used to draw the megaman robots a ton as a kid, so thats probably why
