Hello and welcome to the Concept Cookie Citizen Photo References page!
Here you will find anatomy photo references and are meant to act as a visual aid and reference for you to use and download.
The most requested Photo References was chosen by a recent poll on our Deviantart Page, and it was decided that hands were the first collection we would create. In this hand photo references set, there is a focus on value, forms, shaping, how light affects the the different surfaces of the skin, and how the hand takes different shapes when grasping/holding/using different items.
Hand Collection I
You must be a citizen member to view this contentA huge thanks to my roommate and the hand model for this collection, Dan Goslin (who also created some tutorials on Unity Cookie) for helping me out with the different ideas, staying still while holding a bunch of different objects and knowing how to work with them naturally such as reloading a gun.
In this set there are 115 different male hand reference photos for you to download, at high resolution, each sizing at 64 x 48 inches. Total download size of the collection is 340 MGB
Below is a sample screenshot of each of the different hand references in the set. Starting off, this includes the standard front, back, and side photos of the hand at full extension and at a relaxed state. These also include more tactical poses from holding/shooting/reloading a gun, twirling a butterfly knife, and unpinning a grenade. This also covers more daily actions from holding a mug/glass, holding a cell phone/hammer/book and using a yo-yo.
