In this anatomy video series tutorial, we are taking an in depth look at the human hands. We lay out the bone structure and then lay the muscle structure to build the foundations. Then we use that to lay basic skin rendering over it.

    I realize that these processes can be used in any program, but will you be doing any of this in Gimp to show the workflow with that specific program!

      Yes, for the anatomy series I choose photoshop but I am going to incorporate not only gimp but other softwares as well in the future to give every user tutorials based on what they use :)

    In general the womens ring finger and index are about the same. Male’s have a longer ring finger.

    I haven’t watched the tutorial yet but wanted to recommend “Drawing Dynamic Hands” by Burne Hogarth. One of the best art books I’ve ever studied. You can’t go wrong adding a Hogarth book to your library.
