One question > Is there an option to rotate the canvas in GIMP? (Like in MyPaint for example).. I would appreciate it, since that way, you can draw naturally, like you would rotate the paper if you draw on it.

Hello, I’m new to GIMP and really appreciated for the GIMP tutorials!
I’ve been following this tutorial and using the same settings.
Otherwise I can’t get the same softer brush effect as in this video.
Is this because you are using pen tablet?
Is it impossible to draw like that(not changing opacity and brush size) using mouse? Sorry for the newbie question.

I’m glad I could help. You use liquify often in your PS tutorials so you might like IWarp. It is under Filters > Distort. I don’t know how much it differs from liquify but it is that same basic concept of being able to push and pull the image around.
