In this Photoshop tutorial we look at laying down the base colors on top of character silhouettes to turn into final renders. We start with learning liquify and masking and use them to lay down a color foundation for a character.

Thanks! Yeah, the tablet I use is a Wacom Intuos 4 medium size.
I am so far from being able to draw like this, but I definitely feel like this helped a lot, thanks for making these tutorials man.
Weird… I can’t find the “other dynamics” option in the brush setting.
If it’s CS5 or later “other dynamics” is called “transfer” instead.
When i try to click ctrl on layer to make selection before create the
mask, photoshop elements doesn’t select the silhouette but the
entire canvas.
