Great image. I really like the textures used (or created
.
I use texture painting in Blender and GIMP on the lower clothes. As for the rest, I almost use procedural textures.
You mostly used procedural textures? Your work is truly amazing, how did you achieve that wonderful rock material?
For Luca.

Totally perfect.
Amazing!
absolutely great!
You have statue at hand or did you take photos as reference?
I use the images on the internet as reference.
Google is my friend. search word -> “zaougongen”
This is really great!
In progress? This looks finished and epic!
I made a mistake. It’s a finished work. thanks!
(But I don’t know how to change it.)
Many thanks for your all comments!
Realy worthy of being featured!
Thanks for your comments, Antonio!
Great model and render. I have a process question: did you model in standard form and then rig and pose or just model in the end pose? I ask because I am always interested in modeler workflows.
Thanks,
G
Thanks for the comments, Gary! In this case, I didn’t rig it. But I think the way as you say is normal. If you are interested, have a look at the wireframe image.

Amazing quality. If it wasn’t posted on a 3D-art site I wouldn’t be able to tell it isn’t real. Personally I find this pro stuff very discouraging, it places the bar too high for newcomers. Maybe the site should be split into different skill/detail levels.
Beautiful…
