Must give many thanks to Andrew Price and the Nature Academy, I would never have been able to do grass this well without the things I learned there.

Nice. Very calming scene.
the grass looks a bit weird, it’s supposed to get thinner at the top, but i like the variation in the patches.
Doesn’t seem weird to me. Different types of grass have different traits. Example would be US common for athletic fields being a mix of Rye/Fescue/Bluegrass vs. St. Augustine/Floratam. Floratam is a wide leafed grass that rounds off at the ends doesn’t come to a point.
Not sure what grass he intended it to be but doesn’t seem like he meant it to be a pointy type.
Not sure what type he was going for. Closest I can match to pictures is maybe a Bahaigrass, Thin Fescue(Tip doesn’t change much on this one), or even Red Fescue they seem to look very much like his grass.
