WW 2 American aircraft carrier that was struck by 2 kamikazies. It is an Essex class carrier. Much better than the last version. Equipped with weapons and radars.

try removing the smooth shader and sharpen some more edges.
Or just adding “edge split” modifier.
Also, if it doesnt help, try to play with “main crease” (in “n” toolbar) a bit.
Ctrl + R = Edge Loop
Use edge loops to get a nice tight edge, like along the rim of the carrier’s deck.
Your model probably good to go, just need some edge loops b/c that Smooth or Sub Surf is changing the definition of your final model.

Wow thank you all for the input. Belive it or not heir is no sub surf mod. on this model. Mostly because it was taking to long to render. I’m going to start making more accurate representations of the flak guns. Will definetly try all of your ideas though.
