This scene is rendered in Cycles(100 passes), took 15 minutes.
Post processing done in Photoshop.
Volumetric lighting is all done in the Blender Internal.
It’s just a simple scene…

That’s quite realistic, how’d you get the lollipops in the jar to look so “candy-like”? Did you play with the IOR value or is it a texture?
The glass shader’s IOR value is 1.34(about the same as water) with 0 roughness. And I used the texture as a bump map to control the roughness of the glass.
And to top it all off, I mixed a (white)diffuse shader with the glass shader at a miniscule value to get the glass shader appear mostly.
