They look like they are alpha mapped planes, not actual geometry, to do this you can add an image to a plane with an alpha channel mapped to a transparent blend.

Am I the only one that thinks there looks to be a piece missing in the headlights, and the front rims look a little too digital? Anyway, jaw-dropping awesome render, love it. Looks almost photo realistic.

Good job man. That thing looks real. I just think the long render time for short animation is a little crazy though. Needs smoke particle and wheels spinning for animation of it burning out. cya
