This looks really good, great realism. Could you possibly put this up on Blendswap or some such site? The water is memorising.

Nice work! Someone commented on your sepia one about adding ripples in the water but I think it’s best the way it is. Very peaceful. To each their own though.

      =) Thanks man.

Well, I think this is the best way too, because the reflection falls better without ripples, a little bit fine.

dude, stop thanking left and right! you are thanking us enough by posting this image.
There are indeed some (very small) things that are not perfect (the chairs on the left, the repetitive texture on the side of the bed) but, like it was advertising on the FB, the mood compensates for everything.
    Great job!

PS: Did I mentioned the pool? With the reflection over the texture at the bottom is unbelievable!

Friend, thank for the feedback… xD

Well, about the chairs I don’t know what you mean, but, about the repetitive texture, I know. Was hard found a good quatz or marble texture.
About the reflection on the pool, that is not from the render, in intself render the reflection is perfect, but when I did the pós into PS that was the result.

I’m really glad for posting my image on the Featured. I’ve learned alone and now I’m sure I can do nice renders.

Beautiful render! Great choice for the time of day. Let’s you appreciate both the building exterior and the illuminated interior. I especially like the mosaic tile in the pool. It’s subtle but makes it all the more realistic. Also, leaving the door half open gives the viewer a peak of what might lie in other parts of the house. Something to aspire to.

P.s. I agree that the pool is best witout any ripples. It’s tempting to want to overwhelm a great design with cool features and effects. But a calm pool is in line with the mood for the picture.

This is indeed a good render. I personally think that a pool wouldn’t naturally be so close to a door, or the door wouldn’t have been there. But overall you have done a GREAT JOB! Two thumbs up. ;)

    Beautiful work!!.

Was just wondering what the specs for your machine is? I am in the process of getting a new PC for modeling and just would like to know what others are using.
