I wanted to create a realistic animal, so I thought I’d do an elephant. In total, to model and sculpt it, it took about 4 hours. Rendered in the BI (Don’t know how long it took – left it over night and didn’t check!
) Enjoy!
Turntable below – I’m not sure what the dark grey artefacts on the forehead are caused by – any ideas?

very nice but im not much of an animal modeller or sculptor and im super jelly of your skills
Aha! Thankyou!
Much appreciated
I would never have dreamed of modelling this – but I wanted a challenge – you should try it!
Hi,
Very nice. I like the way you did the turntable. Did you figure that on your own or is there a tutorial you can point me to?
Thanx!
Hello! I figured it out by myself, but there is a far simpler way, explained on this site!
just search ‘turntable’ and it’ll find the tutorial for you
Thank you.
Can you put this up on blendswap?
Erm, I guess I can
I haven’t put anything up before, but I will try
I don’t know how well it’ll rig, I’m not much of an animator, but the topology isn’t too bad I suppose
when it is up – let me know how things go if you do use it
(you may want to normal map it
)
