Baryonyx in Lake

Well, I’m pretty happy with this image. My only complaint is the seams on the dinosaur I was never able to fix.

Completely done in blender, with some texturing done in GIMP. Although, most environmental texturing was procedural. The only exceptions are the trees, which are actually just planes with images of alpha masked 3D trees I had already made and rendered, and the sky, which is a photo. Oh, and the ferns are rendered images from Andrew Price’s drag n’ drop collection (Nature Academy). The photographic sky texture also comes from there, but he said we were allowed to use textures and models for commercial purposes, so that’s okay.
