Hi Jonathan ,I’m new bee to blender your tutors are all awesome!!
I’ve some doubts in blender. If my scene all objects High Res mesh with Character also so how to optimize as a Low proxy for Animation & Render .In maya I used two methods to controlling Character proxy with Wrap Deformer & Attribute data type Enum.. So here how Blender handle this.. Jonathan If you have time please Make this a Tutor. It’s very useful for every bodies future Blender Project. Thank you !!!
Is there a more basic tutorial explaining basic CAD concepts that are not necessarily specific to Blender, such as: definitions of Meshes, standard axis color/letter codes, and more. Very useful information and informative, but if one doesn’t learn the basics first, they may have trouble some time later.
I am really inspired by these videos they are really nice…
I am also new to blender and I think this videos should havea place to download from.
Selecting is right clicking, not left clicking.
I am just running through this series
but i have a question regarding the rendering. My renders look “pixel” / diffuse (not sure what the right translation is.. ) whilst the ones in the vid tutorial look smooth(er). What can cause this, something with the settings on the video card ?
Tnx in advance!
somebody… ? tnx

I can be more specific now i guess; i have been playing around with parameters under the render menu. Seems that adjusting values under sampling improves the render
but then again i have absolutely no clue what i am adjusting there..
Is there a tutorial or small tip where i can find some more information ?

Hello, I have a rather basic question. The Modifiers button is not visible for me in the Properties window, unlike what is shown in the Modelling tutorial. In fact, a lot of the buttons shown in the video are missing for me in that window. Any idea how I can remedy this? Thanks.
Hi Su,
The properties panels are context sensitive based on your current selection. If you select a mesh object then the modifiers should pop back in.
Where is closed caption? I can’t hear you. -.-
Unfortunately we don’t have closed captions yet, but it’s something we are actively trying to add.
New to 3D and Blender, just finished the basics
Tuts are great
That’s great Thomas! Is there a particular area of Blender that you’re most interested in?
I’m at the shading and lighting tutorial, and when I try to check the node editor, nothing appears, I tried selecting the plane and changing back to node editor but nothing happens
Sounds like you need to add a material to your plane first.
Hi,I am a new in Blender,I like it..
Can I use the colors of madcap for one of my objects in my project?if that so,how can I get`em in my rendering, because any time I check the render, comes out in black and white.
However,nice tutorials,thx
