Thank you Drocket60! I'm an Mac/OSX guy myself too. It prolly won't be a huge help, but making sure "Double Sided" in your object data property tab is good idea for sculpting.

As a very green hobbyist most of the techniques covered in the last 1/2 of the series are beyond me at this point, but it is good to know that I can come straight back to this series and pickup the more technical stuff later.

I did enjoy this series a great deal though because even at a relatively low technical understanding of 3d content authoring, I come away from this tutorial with a pretty solid first impression of what a professional blender workflow should look like. I have had zero luck finding a well narrated demonstration of working in tight iterations between sculpting and topology like you did in the first few videos, and never all in the same piece of software. Most tools (and many artists) seem really weak on one side of this or the other. I don't want to be one of those artists, or waste too much time with those tools if I can help it.

But again, this was an amazing tutorial, and as great as the portrait is, I think the tutorial itself is the real piece of art here. Thanks for doing this series.

Thanks Kent,

This tutorial is amazing and really well done :)

Just wish I could afford a better graphics card for the PC. Imac cooks when I start sculpting in blender. Quad core i7 27" that is only good for web surfing :( Should have upgraded the PC! Prefer OSX for most purposes unfortunately.
