I’ve already “liked” them on Facebook previously, but it let me sign in and enter without having to “re-like” them.

Have to pass. I am married and would like to remain so, so I don’t use any of the three.

    Good luck everybody :)

This is a shame. Don’t tweet or twat, or face book. Never will.
Seems a bit biased for the regular folks though.
    Thanks.

I also don’t use Facebook or Twitter (or any other social networking site either). Oh, well…I guess I’ll have to pass. Best of luck to the winner!

I understand where people are coming from by not using those sites,(I dont either) but also you have to think of it from their point of view. People do use those sites so they might be able to pull in some more users and get more people talking about Blender. I know everyone i meet i tell about Blender, so why not on those popular sites also? lol. no biggie. peace.

Here’s the easy way to get a year’s membership; just buy it.
    I think it’s $10 a month which is 2 Starbucks Frappucinno’s.
If you don’t feel these are worth buying your friend a 2 Starbucks a month, then,
well, I don’t want to tell you how tight you are, because I used to be tight too.
Saved every nickel, picked up every penny in the parking lot. Even checked the
change outlet on pay telephones. (yep, I’m that old). But after so many years, I found
you got to spend money to make money and/or save time. My motivation is to save time.
Come on guys, buy them a cup of fancy coffee.

LOL. Great point. I have never scene this much content for 10 dollars a month. Digital Tutors cost 45 a month unless you sign up for a year and then it’s still 33.25 a month. lynda.com cost 25 a month and you have to pay 12.50 a month more to download files.

10 dollars people. That’s less than 2 meal deals at any fast food joint. Priorities people. And if you don’t have a bank card, just purchase a re-loadable card from any box store. Facebook isn’t bad, you just have to be wise about what info you post and adjust all of your privacy settings.

It’s not about the price or content. It’s a given that it’s the best deal in town.

Just passing with no objection to the contest. Some of us don’t use facebook, twitter, or tweet. :)

Well, I’d say from the confusion surrounding twittering and tweeting as if two separate things does lead very much and in a credible direction to what you said about not using such systems where by I say BRavo! in calling a Hawk a Hawk and a chicken a chicken.

You caught me. I also don’t have a credit card or own a cell phone. Lucky me cell phones are attatched to organic transports that suround me in case of emergency, although I usually have to ask how to operate them. :)

I dont like “contests” that involve random luck and / or having a Facebook account. But it’s understandable that the site needs to do some advertising…

Seems like a good deal. And I see no reason to attack the site for wanting some advertising along with giving away a membership. Plus I like the site and I want to help them out anyway
