With us continuing to think of new ways to have fun with this. We decided to kick off our “Citizen Give-aways” This is just another perk to subscribing to our site. At the beginning of each month we will try to do a giveaway where we will randomly pull a Citizen Subscribers name from the list to win items such as; Training Materials, DVDs, T-Shirts and Subscriptions.

Congrats to Trevor Beach for winning this Citizen Give Away!

By joining Cg Cookie as a Citizen Subscriber you are receiving access to our source file library of HD videos across the network including; Baker Animation Series, M4 Series, Female Head Modeling Series, and the Mechanic Series, but the underlining message is you are enabling us and the site to continue.

This months Citizen Give-away includes:

A new signed copy of the Blender For Dummies book by Jason van Gumster!

This is the second edition to Blender For Dummies, updated for all the changes that came about in latest version of Blender. This book serves as the ultimate beginner’s reference for Blender, covering everything from the modeling and texturing tools to animation and simulation effects. And not only does Blender For Dummies explain what various buttons in the interface do, it also explains why they work that way. Included with the book is a DVD loaded with various creative free software tools and instructional video tutorials for many of the examples within the book. Read more about this book

How it works:

At the beginning of each month, we will pull one name, at random, from the current list of Citizen subscribers. In order to have your included in the hat, you must be an active Citizen subscriber.

From the day the drawing is announced, the winner will be drawn the following week. The winner will be notified by email and announced in the original post.

That is it, simple and to the point. Thanks again and have a great week!

If I won that book i’d give it to my bro I got him and my sister into blender and they need book versions of the tutorials to help them, So winning would be sweet.

  3. I like the idea, but I would like to ad something. Why not also include all the people who once were a citizen. They also supported the website. I know that this is also meant to be an incentive for people to become a citizen, but in my honest opinion former citizens should also be included in the raffle.

    Just my 2 cents =)

    Keep the great tuts coming!

psst: still waiting for the follow up on the building modelling (texturing) ;)
