awesome video, Sebastian! definitely going to be using that…I knew a bit about the drag-&-drop, but I had no idea it was this extensive
Wow! Drag a “materials” name and drop it onto the actual object to see the object take on the actual material – I had no idea. Very neat! Thanks for the tip!!
could you please do a tutorial on applying a patch to the source code?
Wow! It’s really great!
) I didn’t knew about this functionality and often spent a noticeable ammount of time for renaming (due to my collegue requirement too!)
So, thanks a lot that you did this tip tutorual, Sebastian!
BTW – is here an ability to rename by drag-n-drop more than one object at a moment?
Now that is sweet! That was the best 2 min 34 sec of my day
Amen to that
I agree!
Very Nice!
It’s always the little things. What an awesome feature.
Little feature but big help to the workflow.
The drag and drop feature will be fully powerful when we have a browsable material lib,
Exactly like in Modo
Just drag’n'drop and the vase is on the table
Very usefull! Thank you.
Very useful! Once I wrote a python script to rename the mesh of the object with the same name as the object
Just a suggestion for the next quick tip: Local view, I recently found this out, if you press “Numpad /”, only the object selected will remain visible, and if you press “Numpad /” again, it will go back into global mode.
(When I accidently pressed it I was scared I deleted my whole model)
Now that’s cool! Thanks.
Thank you for the video, Sebastian. I never knew about Drag and Drop. Our buddy Jonathan touched on it in another video but the Materials rock!
Thats ,just ,one great tip , thanks ! ALL housing
