In part two of this tutorial, I go on with the Bug Zapper to create multiple materials, including the glowing blue light of the bulbs set as an Emitter, and using that to turn on the Indirect Lighting effect. I set up a few different lighting rigs before finally deciding on Spotlights with Buffer Shadows to render out the final image.

Very cool, though I was hoping for some more complex texturing techniques. But I suppose it’s not really needed :)

Try using a low intensity sun lamp for the moon light. This way all the light rays are parallel and you won’t end up with a shadow that’s larger than the actual object.

But once again, another good tutorial!

Looks cool. Turn off the shadowing for the fill-lights. That way you wound have 5 shadows and as a bonus you will have faster render times.

the buffer spot lighting isn’t leaving any shadow. i have all the angles right plus the distance of the wall isn’t that far.
