that looks very useful! Now all we need is a wire frame add on.
thanks for the tip
You don’t need an add-on for that. Just select “wire” as the material type.
That was great. I would love to see a video of everyone’s top ten add ons for blender, or at least their favorites.
Hey Mike – Interesting idea – what do you consider your top add-ons for Blender?
I’m still trying to learn the basics. I haven’t explored the add-ons at all.
Very Useful Jonathan!, Thanks.
How exactly do you download the script?
On the link in the description click on the download link under “Installation” that is preceded by “Go to 0.3.” The exact download instructions are also covered in the video.

Useful tutorial, as always.
A quick tip (or tutorial) on how to make a turntable animation would be nice.
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for the reply,
Got it sorted, when I am redirected to blender.org and click on “go to 0.3″ I have to right click and select “save link as”. I also found that the script wouldn’t show up in the render menu in 2.53, however it worked perfectly in 2.54. Hope it becomes standard in the final release.
Think this might be good to know.
I tried to download the script using mozilla firefox
it did not not work. I had to use Internet Explorer to
be able to download the script.
Something erratic with this Clay Script, I guess.
I tried this Script and it worked as it is supposed to. However even though I unselected the check box to not use the Clay Render, Blender starts to work erratically. Very slow and jerky. Hangs very easily. You playback an animation in the 3D port and it goes like 3 frames per second. I did not know what was the problem until I disabled this Clay Add On, and everything went back to normal. ( Tried many things, reboot, other of my files etc etc, something is fishy in here )
Windows 7 Ultimate 32.
is there a way i can edit a figure on clay mode?
