Excellent tutorial, well worth the hour of watching. I loved how you used hand painting instead of just texturing. Thanks!

    Finland? Seriously? xD
I live in Vantaa, Finland myself.
So ehh, I’ll remember to say hi if I see you (and recognize you somehow, heh).
But, eh, have fun here, although it’s not that nice this time of the year.

Anyway, nice tutorial, glad to see some of the photoshop side too.
I mean it’s hard to keep it exlusively on Blender or Photoshop, when they’re
both a part of the workflow and an integral part of the process, right?

    Take care,

Cool! That’s actually not too far from where I’ll be in, in Lahti. If you happen to see me on the streat, by some chance, be sure to say hi.

I have a question, in the first seconds of this video you begin to select at the same moment a lot of edges of the stem, and after you do the same with the apple. How you do that?

    Thanks, you’re a great help

      Hi Max,

You can select complete edgeloops by ALT + RMB on one of the parallel edges to the loop you wish to select.

Is that what you were wondering?

    Hello.
I’ve been following the first tutorial and am greatly impressed. As a Blender beginner however, I am confused as to how you’re only able to select an edge loop of the stem when UV Unwrapping during the first minute of the video without selecting an edge of the entire apple.

Thanks. However, I already know how to select edge loops. The problem I’m experiencing is that the edge loop extends beyond the stem, and to the entire apple. How do I select only the stem’s edge?

In that case the mesh is joined, select an edge, then ctrl+click on another edge and blender will find the shortest path between them.

AS a beginner who has worked with other 3D apps I gotta say I appreciate your skill BUT YOU GO TO DAMN FAST. Slower with more communication about what tool you are using and WHY would greatly benefit beginners watching this course. As it is I find it rather frustrating. Maybe it should be ranked as intermediate course :D
