    Thank you so much! I did not know this, and was getting very frustrated because blender is still in alpha stages and *sigh* crashes every once in a while.

    lol. “Losing as much as five minutes is a he- whole lot better…”

    Great tip. It will definately help with the work on my nwe short film. 2.5 doesn’t seem to be very stable when working with lots of particles, and it has crashed on me quite a bit lately.

    (On a side note, I always notice the large number of ex. drives you have. Your work station must be pretty awsome!)

    And what happens when blender not only corrupts your file, but the autosave as well?

    Interesting blog post. Things i would like to contribute is that computer memory must be purchased in case your computer can’t cope with whatever you do along with it. One can deploy two RAM memory boards having 1GB each, for example, but not one of 1GB and one with 2GB. One should check the manufacturer’s documentation for the PC to be certain what type of storage is necessary.
