Hey !

So thanks for the very useful tutorial. I'm not a usual blender user. I've just started using it for some scientific work and I'm a complete newbie when it comes to blender (though I had experience with 3dsmax before and now I see you can do all these stuff with blender too). Well... just wanted to say thanks for explaining everything so patiently and clearly and also that since It's kinda late here in the lab and I'm quite tired, I've noticed you have a very nice voice which calms me down and at the same time very convincing so I hope I can really get these stuff to work now. Anyway, maybe you could also consider narrating professionally! Or just record your voice and upload it ! ;)

It seems I have a different version of Blender than you? Though I believe I have the newest. In my "Weight Paint" Tool bar I do not have "add" or "subtract" -- does anyone have any idea why?

Well the first step would be to upgrade to 2.60 :) It is much more stable and feature complete.

Hi Carl,

If you can link to a screenshot of your render or something then I can take a more educated guess... :)

Hi! I tried out your tutorial it works good, but my fur looks kinda messy though. I made the color of the fur light, but then some spots are black. Is it with the lighting?
