Amazing! It’s great to have all these techniques together in a single video and be able to use them in the stairway tutorial. It’s like having many of Jonathan’s ‘tip’ videos put togheter.

Yes, thanks again. The explanations were very helpful because some of them went by pretty quick during the first tutorials. Thanks for the pause and refresher course.

Thanks for the comments! I think having the review makes it easier to digest a lot of the techniques covered in longer tutorials. It’s better than having to scrub through several videos!

Have a Happy and Safe New Year!

I never knew about the custom transforms before this series. I always love learning about something I had no idea about before.

    Dear Kernon,
Can you tell me one thing that you cannot do in blender,
everyone say that you cannot be goot at everything,
but it seems to me that you are.

This tutorial is indeed a treat!!!
    Snapping
    Auto merge
    Modelling technique
it is all to good to be true!
Thank you very much indeed for that

Thanks for kind and humbling comments. Believe me, there’s a mountain of things I don’t know. I just try to learn something new every day (or reinforce the things I do know). I believe we’re all “newbies”, it just depends on the subject in question.

Highly refined texturing is one of my weaknesses and I plan to use this scene as a laboratory to overcome many things. If the results aren’t too horrible, I’ll cover them in future “parts” of this tutorial.

BTW, the next part will deal with lighting the scene.

Clear and to the point. I mean, to the vertex. I enjoyed this rehearsal review very much, just as the whole series preceding. I find the custom transform orientation tip the most useful of all of them, although it’s hard to pick out of such an educational blast. Thank you part4 and hello part5!
    Keep on Kernon.

Lighting a scene can be a pain sometimes, so I’m glad to see the next part :)

Wow Kernon! you should have been a professor.

You have a natural talent for teaching. I know you’re a blender certified trainer, but have you ever considered approaching any colleges or university to start a Blender Course? that would be great. Are you involved with the mavenseed project yet?

    anyway great job!

fantastic job..you gain a new fan.

I’m brazilian blender user and i didn’t known anything about you, your person, jobs, skills in blender, etc.
It’s was a great surprise for me found/sought your tutorials.

You and Andreas Goralczyk, for me, are the bests. But your didactic is incredible.

    thanks a lot.
