Ha not that I am aware of. I will double check the sound and replace the video if needed. Thanks for the heads up!

Great tip! Yes your sound has a flanger type effect happening, almost like you set an environment on your mic/sound.

Useful. The sound on the video sounds distorted. The sound of the sound? Doesn’t seem right for some reason…

Nice one! More tuts on AO/GI and general lighting issues would be very welcome as well. Let’s hope Kernon will keep the promise and shed more light on it in Urban Stairway pt5 :-)

    Thank you.

If paypal wasn’t being silly at the moment… I would have been a “citizen” the day Wes introduced it. Yes, the tuts and resources are more than worth it.

As always, great tutorial/ tip. =) One question though: One the render posted on top of this page you have a nice darker ‘edge’ going on the front plane of your cube. How did you do this? I might be missing the obvious here, but it’s late, so please bare with me. =P

Jonathan, any chance of this getting an update for 2.5? I would love to see this and some others updated.

Hi. Thank you for your tutorial.

I would just ask you. What to change to make this render as well in GameEngine.

    Best regards,
    Pete

Ok, finally got it to work in Blender 2.5!

What I did was I turned on the Transperancy (ZTransperancy), with only Alpha changed, which was set to 0.5 (I found that setting it to 1 will always make the shadow completely black).
Then under Shadow, I unchecked Receive and checked Shadows Only.

Yea it is useful BUT you cant control the AO lets say if the value is 1 you cant type it more than 1. That sux! I want the shadows to be darker but it has only the max value 1. So I need to create one more light to give more darker shadows which also sux!
