Everyone likes free stuff, but as artists free stuff can be a real life saver. With this round of free stuff, we are giving away fives models of barrels, boxes and a shipping pallet! These models are licensed as CC Attribution 3.0. You are free to use them for just about any use. In commercial work and personal, the only requirement is that you attribute the work back to the original author.

All of the models are untextured but perfect for filling the empty space in your scene and/or providing a solid base for texturing practice.

Enjoy!

Lovin these.. and the Kitchen set as well.

Could you fine folks put together a quick “Tip” showing how to import these and the kitchen set models?

For some it will be a nice reminder, for others it would be a great spark on how to use other models in a scene.

    I’m a little confused…
You say “not allowed to redistribute or resell.”

But the creative commons license does let you do those things

From the license page you link to:
    You are free:
—> to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work <—
to Remix — to adapt the work

So is it under a creative commons license or not,
    or have I misunderstood something?

Whoops, this was a mistake on our part. We will correct the license ASAP. You are allowed to use it for personal, commercial and other purposes so long as you DO NOT redistribute or resell them as themselves. They may however be redistributed as part of a derivative work. In other words, if you use one of the models as part of a tutorial, you may include the model in the source files download.
