Awesome! Love the new site and the latest tutorial!
yay the first blendercookie exclusive tutorial!
the softbody simulation works fine for that hat, love the outcome of the colorramp too.
Cool tutorial and great timing for the halloween season:D
THX!
Excellent tutorial. Thanks.
Is there an easy way to apply some cut-outs to the pumpkin, so we can make a scary face and even put a lantern inside?
You could use the techniques here for making a jack-o-lantern:

I would like to see how you can cut eyes and mouth into the pumpkin and then put a burning candle into it.
I am with Marcus, I’d like to see if it is possible to hollow the pumpkin model out and make a jack-o-lantern out of it.
Please, please, please, pretty please?
Keep a close eye out, good ole Jack may be coming your way soon
Great tutorial, as always. You are the only “tutor” whose videos consistently teach me things that are innovative, new, and very useful. Great videos and great website!
Hi Jonathan. I really like your work, thank you for all those great tutorials. Could it be possible to know what software you are using to record you video?
I use Camtasia for all of my recording. Glad you like them!
It is a very nice video perca, but some extra short cuts could have been put in, I’m sure.
best for you suprisely
