In this tutorial, we’ll take a look at how to create non-photorealistic Cumulus clouds in Blender. These techniques are taken from a Siggraph 2009 paper titled “Painting with Objects”, created by Isaac Botkin.

PLEASE! stop using vimeo it doesnt load properly in australia
@Valek27,
Do you have problems with all Vimeo videos or just the BlenderCookie ones? Also, do you have trouble viewing videos on sites like Youtube, BlipTV, Viddler etc?
this video doesnt play right. =(
Could you possibly share a bit more info on what is not working?
Is it failing to load? Is it lagging? Is there no sound?
With more info perhaps we can help you troubleshoot the issue
Hi I’m in Australia and it plays fine for me.
It says:
“Sorry.
The creator of this video has not given you permission to embed it on this domain.
This is a Vimeo Plus feature”
That’s all I see in the player. It plays fine on vimeo though.
Thanks for the video
Hope you get rid of the issues on this page soon
Hey Kamal – Was able to view the video on a couple machines here, but not disputing your claim.
I just checked the permissions on the video and it should be good to go, but glad you were able to view on vimeo.com to get the education. Maybe this is a bug with vimeo is some instances..
imo, an extremely useful tutorial and excellent job explaining things. i did not know how involved this process would be and though i am not going as far as you went with your detailed clouds for my project, i was intrigued by the steps taken to get the final results and quite impressed as well. thank you for a very good cloud tutorial, sir! cheers
I tried the 2.49 blender to make a cloud with no volume and no mblur… just the effect…
